This Just in Breaking news! This is a rare, a post by Rybird himself, appears authentic!
What was Rybird Thinking?
I am going to try to explain the music, if I can't explain it, I will make up a lie I think fits. Soul kitty..... that's easy, I had a trial program of a synthesizer that sounded like a cat..but that's not how it
started. It was to be a collaboration to have a female sing a song, but I couldn't wait so I found some vocal loops.
The Great Frog Gig in the Sky will be the Great Frog Gig in the Water so it isn't so obvious that I like Pink Floyd. Also
those are female frogs and I use three organs as a request from Frogmaster to compose an organ piece.
Lemon Lime
Noise Twist tangy, took my 4 hours to set the sounds how I wanted on just two keyboards and did a meditation. One of
my favorites. Would be the intro to a concert.
Tripping over the Moon 100 percent loops, 175 copyright violations..my
lawyers phone number is available on request, don't bother me about it. It was done in outerspace so the law doesnt' apply
there anyway.
The Living World Part 2,,, I fucked up part 1 and made it, the alien;s mother died,, wait, is that
song up? My first published song actually surpased my expectations. did I make you look?
Bump bump whatever just
bump supposed to be Paul wants to dance. But I was afraid if I named it that way I would have to.
Don't Jazz it
uP...most people stop reading here.
Ah...Glowsticks,,,almost a masterpiece...I hang on to a note too long, oh well
I had nine different synthesizers playing at one time, I am not perfect...too many notes, was supposed to be a chase scene
in a imaginary movie
Peace B4 me Funny people think is is off timing, sorry, the notes are quantitized by a computer
and are accurate to within a millionth of an inch.
Grind and Pollish, Polish just looks better, My first and naturally
most difficult piece. almost all stock Sony Loops that come in various packages. I do play lead synth though. and I am
singing like a little girl......lie!
Amusement park Ride. you don't even want to know what it was originally called.
hey I play all of that except the drums!, no loops, again except drums from an fellow ebayer in Arkansas named Jeff. He likes
it.
Dance Fantasy..was one of those that I got sick of working on...took 4 hours to fix a 2 second part in it.
Cravioley....was inspired by raver RadioElectrik. if you listen very close you can hear my Dad singing in the background,
only about 30 or 40 tracks. I don't know really used a lot of memory.
Deserted Nights,,, waiting on a girl to show
up that was taking forever, I wanted to impress her and actually finished it before she came over.
Do it again.....I
learned to splice and wasnt' good at it.
Tracking Daynight. I actually sat down and played that like the lemon
lime noise twist with no editing, played it on my wavestation with a virtual synth running parallel.
Salting the
Panther...Hoping it to be a theme for TV show... then I could quit gigootz.....
My green spackle....sounds like
snot to me but you will listen to anything so go listen again, it gets better with time just like snot.
Tri-master,
no one has yet to realize it is the same melody and notes as the Triassical just at a different speed, actually performed
different too so don't feel bad.
The Triassical is a three pronged Assical. that I wrote while fondling a hospital
grade electrical outlet.
Parking lot Police. I have the right to remain silent.
Ladies Please......have
you ever bought something to use it once and take it back when you are through? Yamaha keyboard. I am not telling you where
I got the divas.
Three way tickets.....when working on a song I have to rename it when I try to repair it, It was
one way ticket once upon a time.
speaking of, I have 36 of these to do? I will only do part 2 at the request of
My Green Spackle listeners.
Actually ambioso is the only song with meaning, I may reveal that in part 2.
Part II
Ambioso, oh it is ambient oh so, the video Driving Me. gives it the meaning, about how life can
be taken for granted, or someone lives in an illusion and it can all be over in a minute, but it is more than that, it is
about the beauty of dying and the plane symbolizes, well you must watch it to the end to get the effect.
technical
stuff, the song Just Like You, I performed on two acoustic guitars, switching one through a virtual amp stack, giving it that
distorted sound. I also played two bass guitars, one in each channel and two keyboard leads at the same time. My first time
to sing and maybe the only.

Rybird's Father, Vollie Brown, the man-the story-the truthVollie "Vollie ball Brown 1921 to Present
He was raised on a farm in small
town Lousiana picking cotton from can to can't. A movie was ten cents and was silent, There were no Tv's but we knew
that. About the only singer was Jimmie Rogers who died an early death from leukemia. But World War II broke out and my father
joined the national guard, then was drafted into the Army. He was an electrician stationed in the phillipines and ran
telegraph wire through the trees. He said that you had to have a good ground so the signal would get through so if the ground
was dry, they would pee on the ground stake to save water. He later became a member of the Artillery Battalion where
he was responsible for setting the timing of the fuse in the 90mm anti-aircraft cannons. The war was over and Mr. Brown has
rarely talked about it, and is admired my many for leaving it behind. He took the skills the army taught him in the 5 years
of the war and opened up an electric motor rewind shop in Shreveport. He also bought a gibson guitar new for $55 in 1946.
In 1961 He moved his shop to a new building and I was born that year. Now for the music part. Sometime during that time he
was a rhythm guitar player in the Amazing Rhythm Aces. Later after that band he would go over to Governor Jimmie Davis mansion
and play guitars with the Governor and his friends. He was also a close friend of Tillman Franks. He had an opportunity to
"Get his sister over" contracted but existing obligation discouraged that. In the early 1990's I heard him play
Putt Putt Putt and was myself impressed. I mean he taught me all the regular country chords and played a lot of country music,
but this one was different. We had a new million dollar studio in town, Nightwing recording studio, and I knew the people
running it and actually the owners son was my drummer in a little band I had. He went into the studio and thought it
strange that they would record just him playing the guitar and then just him singing because he could play guitar and harmonica
and sing all at the same time...he put the harmonica in his mouth sideways. Nightwing did a great job of recording and Vollie
has been features on local radio stations. Since then he retired and volunteered his time to do one hour performances
in retirement homes. That was truely a blessing for him and his audience always looked forward to him...I tease him
about having a captive audience. He has been featured in the newspaper about this. He just celebrated his sixty
first wedding anniversary and will be 88 years old this August. He listens to country music through a boom box outside everyday
and recently put the guitar down because of fingering problems. I have taken some of his tapes playing and singing a couple
of originals and many covers and transferred them to computer. I plan on uploading an original or two to compliment Putt Putt
Putt. He got excited about me putting the music up for people to hear and what is his secret to a long healthy and prosperous
life? Humour is what he says and I tell you he has the wits and jokes. Like the one that goes, Do you have time to hear
a long joke? Ok Joooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooke! we thank everybody Rybird,
and Vollie, "volley ball" Brown+

Tidbits on RybirdReal Musicians, we know who we are:
We are fans, fans of our own music, from when we first went over a friend’s house
when we were kids and watched or friend play his new guitar and they let us play it, so we got a bass or another
guitar, or Casio and started playing, The details aren’t important, it’s the fact that we liked our
music we recorded it. Yes we were our own best fans. Sure we would go out to the clubs and watch the pro’s
play, or if there was a concert our whole week would be planned around it. But what makes us true musicians?
It is the feeling of belonging, the feeling of love and comradery that came when we all played correctly or even close. I still get that today. And for some of us it is the excitement that I cannot describe that comes from playing in front of a crowd.
The money isn’t even important during moments like that. A real musician plays altruistically naturally
because he knows without a doubt his rewards are greater than his efforts. To all the real musicians out there, I Salute You!
