We are the sundering fate, splitting the past from the future, making the present a distinct difference between our unchangeable past and our unfixed and unknown future. A constantly moving point in time, we exist in the moment, yet our mind can recall the past, or anticipate a future event. Sundering fate is a free flowing yet rhythmic soundtrack by Alloy Dream that seemingly joins the past to the present as the music comes from the future through our ears to the past. The video Sundering Fate using the question mark as symbolism for the quest for the answers. Life is a paradox, a mystery, only decipherable as it sunders from the future to the past.

Sundering Fate – The Story
Alloy Dream copyright2016
A story of personal challenges and overcoming.
Feeling invincible, and strong, I grasping no sense of mortality. I am king of all I survey, a success in everything I do. I am as a viking warrior, conquering the hearts of damsels, claiming new prizes of ego and self esteem, as I litter the path with broken hearts. My dynasty is nearly complete and confidence is high. I feel as though I am a character in history, Son of Odin perhaps, a mythological God as I destroy all boundaries, ripping through peoples lives as if they were the sand on a beach during a tornado. Error evades me as I carve my passage through the garden of vitality.
But then the clock of life strikes twelve as remnants of bygone become a prophetical boomerang, a surprise of the least expected. An experience that not only gave me a reflection in my purpose, but many ways fulfilled it. Unaware of the dust cloud left behind me, seeds of life sprouted into the clay of a future warrior. Time stood still for a magical moment. That time was high noon.
My conquest had been diverted as I supplement the battle of life with double edge swords, seducing me into the dark valleys of survival. Soon the tools were more important than the engagements that were turning into constant skirmishes. Accenting my weakness with alternating distractions of thrill and content, I lost vision of life's strategy, focusing on relief as the impending self destruction waits patiently.
All minor inconveniences, a temporary setback, as I hurl headstrong in to battles on top of other battles. Insuring defeat is my way, and it is still working, While people have told me the how and why of self defeat, I defy even them, and keep the wagon of strife moving forward.
Soon my zest become my own enemy as I learn to fear myself. I survey the damage, discovering the past as a scar on an otherwise worthy journey. The cut path had widened with a life all it's own, circling viciously before me. I sense the reward of my own lethal ways, reflecting upon the darkness of my past.
Unswayed by the certainty of destruction, I submerge myself into the blind mist of confusion. Tumultuous storms brew as I become my own enemy, inflicting the misery of despair into the crevices of my mind. For I have never used nor needed hope as an escape from the battlefield of my existence.
Clandestine, the demons have taken residence in my mind, dancing over their successful torturing of my sanity. Crossing the gates of hell, love had become the ashes filling the hole created by my selfishness. Surrendering lurks as I reap the spoils of my own course, rendering me blind to all but my own reflections.
Rage descends into me. Clashing within me are the flames of hostility, as I thrash against my own darkness with darkness. For hope has left and the soul is hiding in fear. Confusion multiplies, raping my sanity. I have eroded into nothingness with hope now a mere fantasy.
Surrendering, hope comes out of hiding and flows into self. Grace arrives caressing me gently. I am lifted from the trenches of damnation into a realm of the unknown. Fear has vacated, leaving me with a new-found freedom and enlightenment. The wreckage of past disharmony has vanished in the distance
Wise from my own defeat, I begin anew. sundering the blackness, cutting it with the light of awakening. For now I have a stellar and angelic guide that nourishes sanctity providing me with tranquil solidarity. - Yukan Wintoo

Lyrics for High Noon by Alloy Dream
It was high noon nothing seemed right the sky still held the moon the streets empty like night a woman was coming out of a door a woman with child never saw her before Well maybe once, it was a while. She said, Hey remember me? Then she looked kinda mad I wonder who could she be and she mumbled something about a Dad. I looked at the child about three foot three looked like the woman from what I could see She said, He is what you were and you are what he will be. I thought to myself no this couldn't be That night in Reno, she mutters. and now I can see. I start to stutter but the boy he was me. |
Lyrics for Son of Odin by Alloy Dream
Son of Odin by Alloy Dream Riding the wind into Valhalla The song of the Valkarie calls us to battle Never to be taken alive glory in death Raise your sword in salute the livings last breath Son of Odin's hammer will fall The power of the gods will hear the call Broken shields shattered on the field The power of Mjolnir mighty Thor wields The ships borne swiftly on dark sea foam The call of the Valkarie will take me home Son of Odin's hammer will fall The power of the gods will Thunder and lightning hallowed it falls Beckon us into Valhalla’s halls Lyrics for I am Free by Alloy Dream I Am Free by Alloy Dream Copyright 2012 all rights reserved In the beginning, I knew who I was I had to change; it was your cutting tongue Left here in a pool of confusion and despise I found who I am, sworn never again to love Chorus I am not what you see And I am a vision inside me I am I am free I am not what you see Chorus Repeat |
